Tuatha de Danaan

This Tuatha de Danaan measures 5' long x 12" wide x 40" tall. It is made out of a piano harp with all the strings intact.

The top is made out of 316 separate pieces of hardwood (white oak, maple, ash, cherry, walnut, paduke, purpleheart, mahogany, canary and cyprus) held together with epoxy resin that is colored blue, white and green. There is an additional layer of clear epoxy resin over the colored resin in order to give the piece more depth. Multiple epoxy bowtie inlays are sprinkled in the top as well. Sanded to 1200 grit and finished with a hand rubbed oil.

The middle of the table has a curved shelf made out of hard maple.

The bottom has an I-Beam in the back connected to 4 custom square tube steel legs in the front all powder coated with a copper vein color.

This piece weighs approximately 220 pounds.

Tuatha de Dannan received a 3rd place award at the Hopkins Center of the Arts 2025 and is currently on display at the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art.
