Commission a Painting/Drawing
Photography
Portraits are usually created from photographs taken by the us at the your home/location and are used as reference for the the final painting. We may use pre-existing photographs that you already have. As long as they are high quality.
Contract & Payments
Once the details of the subject, size of the final artwork and timeline have been agreed upon, we will then agree on a contract and a payment schedule. Pricing is variable depending on the size and complexity of the artwork.

Lead Time
Custom pottery usually takes 2 months at a minimum as I need enough product to fill a kiln prior to firing. So if you are looking for 2 custom mugs, I can’t fire those until the entire kiln is full of other pottery.
Contracts and Pricing
No contracts are needed for a custom item unless it is personalized, has a company logo or needs custom carving. If a contract is needed, then I will need 50% down prior to starting. Pricing is variable depending on the size and complexity of the artwork.

Commission Furniture
Lead Time
Custom furniture can take anywhere from 1 month to 1 year, depending on the size and scope of the project. Most commissions are household items around the $300-$1000 that take around 1 month to build, while some have been $20,000+ and have taken over a year to complete. So please be as specific with type of project, wood species, sizes and timeline when ordering your custom furniture.
Contracts and Pricing
Contracts will be standard with any commissioned furniture over $1,000 or if the furniture is very custom to your space. Contracts will be negotiated, written out and agreed by both parties with 50% down prior to design and construction. Pricing is variable depending on the size and complexity of the furniture.
