Art piece- Spalted Maple Sculpture
This sculpture was originally a piece of firewood, but after looking at the color, it needed to be something better than that.
After many hours of sanding and machining, I turned it into it's final shape in order to compliment it's natural curve on it's longest side.
A freestanding art piece.
Finished with Tung oil for a slight shine.
