Not a piece of driftwood, but a piece of rainwood. This piece was on top of a rock pile in a farm field. It has been sitting on that pile for around 20 years, being shaped by the rain and the seasons. I took it in and started shaping it until it looked like what I saw in my head. I sanded and sanded it for many, many hours to get a baby smooth finish.
